Lady Elliot Island is a significant nesting location for Green and Loggerhead Turtles. Nesting season normally occurs between November to February, with hatchlings emerging from January to March. Join our ‘Turtle Trek’ tours and witness nesting and hatching turtles under the expert guidance of our marine biologists and discover the magic of turtle season on the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
