Containers for Change funds going to the Turtles
Kellys Beach Resort will be encouraging their guests to donate empty cans and bottles, with money raised to be donated to the local Sea Turtle Alliance Organisation.
Sea Turtle Alliance president said Gary Brandon thanked Kelllys Beach Resort for their thoughtful action, which he said would help protect turtles in the Bundaberg Region.
“Kellys Beach Resort are a passionate advocate for our region, turtles and environment and we are excited to be the recipient of any funds raised through this initiative,” Gary said
Loni Hammond the Business Director at Kellys Beach Resort said this was 1 of a few programs that the resort has to encourage guests to think green while at Kellys. ‘We understand that we all need to work together to have meaningful change for our environment so our philosophy is to encourage our guests as much as we can to help us support environmental causes’.
