Thank you for connecting with the Southern Great Barrier Reef at ATE25

Thank you to all the trade and media partners who took the time to meet with us during ATE25 in Brisbane. Interest in the Southern Great Barrier Reef (SGBR) continues to grow, and this year’s event reinforced the region’s position as an accessible, nature-based destination that delivers real value to the international market.

ATE25 (Australian Tourism Exchange) wowed international delegates in Brisbane from 27th April to 1st May, with a record number of Queensland booths and a record 18 booths attending from our Southern Great Barrier Reef Destination. Each booth conducted up to 25 back to back appointments per day for 4 days !

The 2025 Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE25) is the largest and most prestigious tourism trade event in the southern hemisphere, bringing together international travel buyers, tourism operators, and media for five days of networking, showcasing and strategic partnership building.
